MURDER OF CROWS VERSE 1 Some people wish for things. They wish for long black wings They would soar high as they could fly No matter what goes round, they’ll put you in the ground While they float in the air and fly CHORUS It’s time to go. Watch the sky and don’t walk slow Don’t need more foes. Watch out for a murder of crows VERSE 2 When it’s cold, see one’s breath — it’s like a touch of death Warm air will rise, up in the sky The warmth feels like fire, pulsing through the wire The choice is fly, so you must try CHORUS VERSE 3 Some people wish bad things on a pair of black wings A black eye spies from the sky Whatever it is worth, they can see down to earth They said that man would never fly CHORUS VERSE 4 Black feather floats on air — it could land anywhere May be a sign, something will die I’ll have to wait and see, I hope it isn’t me I’ll try to float on air and fly CHORUS

LOVES I’VE LOST CHORUS Everytime I said goodbye, I know there was a cost Like to say I’m sorry, for the lovers I have crossed Floats away on the wind, rose petals that were tossed Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost. Loves I’ve lost. VERSE 1 Looking back I was a young fool Way we parted might have been cruel Didn’t know how to part as friends Is it past time to make amends? CHORUS VERSE 2 Don’t think about all we missed Don’t think about times we kissed I was afraid so I said goodbye Love never lasts if you never try CHORUS VERSE 3 Past lovers, I might find Past lovers left behind Got a lover I’ve had for years Been together through laughs and tears CHORUS VERSE 4 Memories are roses in the rain Forgotten thorns, and forgotten pain Kind of like a rose tattoo After time, beauty shows through CHORUS + OUTRO Everytime I said goodbye, I know there was a cost Like to say I’m sorry, for the lovers I have crossed Floats away on the wind, rose petals that were tossed Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost Like to say I’m sorry, for the loves I have lost. Loves I’ve lost. the loves I’ve lost the loves I’ve lost the loves... the loves I’ve lost

I LOVE MY TELEVISION VERSE 1 I love my television, not what I see on TV It’s not my decision, what’s on channel 23 Speaking with derision about someone like me TV tries to change your vision, what you hear and what you see CHORUS I remember black and white turning into Technicolor The future looked so bright, we’d all be sisters and brothers Turn off the television said our fathers and mothers Back then we all hoped, we’d all be sisters and brothers we’d all be sisters and brothers, we’d all be sisters and brothers VERSE 2 I love my television, not what I see on TV Feels like a brain incision, what’s it does to me Facing a verbal collision. Lies and hypocrisy Stereotypes, superstition, lost responsibility CHORUS VERSE 3 I love my television, not what I see on TV This flat panel revision – better than old CRTs Whatever is the mission, it’s still not clear to me Still is can be your decision, what to hear and what to see CHORUS

Almost Gone 05:00
ALMOST GONE VERSE 1 Once the circus came to town. Fire eaters and the clowns Pulled the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went No place left to spend the day. No place left to run away Pull the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went CHORUS Going, Going, Almost Gone The circus train just rolled on Going, Going, Almost Gone Rolled into night, gone by dawn Going, Going, Almost Gone Going, Going, Going Gone VERSE 2 Once a train from town to town, moving the show around Held our breath without a sound, wire walkers above the ground Acrobats on trapeze, flying through the air with ease Then a clown pretends to sneeze, flips and falls just to please CHORUS VERSE 3 Guess it was considered cruel, elephants didn’t make the rules Horses ridden by a sequined lady, barker seems a little shady Greatest show is best at night — loses glamour by daylight Could be why the circus went. Pulled the stakes, folded the tent CHORUS VERSE 4 Once the circus came to town. Fire eaters and the clowns Pulled the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went No place left to spend the day. No place left to run away Pull the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went CHORUS

CHANGE YOUR LUCK VERSE 1 There are times when you get down, you’re forced to look around You crash without a sound — at all Sometimes when it gets bad, losing everything you had should you be mad — at all How hard did you hit the wall? How far did you fall? CHORUS When you see it coming. And it’s starting to gain Will you hide from the storm? Or will you dance in the rain? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? Oh yeah Oh yeah VERSE 2 Sometimes you beat the drum, sometimes you’d rather hum There is no rule of thumb — at all It goes from a little ache, to a full-blown heartbreak Something you can’t shake — at all How hard did you hit the wall? How far did you fall? CHORUS VERSE 3 Oh damn, it just got real, take stock of how you feel Not on an even keel — at all Another turn of the wheel, another’s fate is sealed Another wound won’t heal — at all How hard did you hit the wall? How far did you fall? CHORUS When you see it coming. And it’s starting to gain Will you hide from the storm? Or will you dance in the rain? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? When it all comes down. Will you pick yourself up? Will you turn yourself around, will you try to change your luck? Heartstrings 04:29
HEARTSTRINGS VERSE 1 Sit in the window seat, something seems incomplete See beyond the dirty pane. At home and alone again. Way too far gone to stay, too scared to go away. Ends will fray, words will sting, that will run out the string. CHORUS You’ve got your heartstrings tied in a knot Tied up and tangled in a strange plot You fell in a trap, ready or not You’ve got your heartstrings tied in a knot VERSE 2 Roll it up in a ball, then go and undo it all. Stretch it out as it goes, just how far — no one knows It don’t roll in a straight line, it will be a twisted spline. Ends will fray, words will sting, that will run out the string. CHORUS VERSE 3 Starts with a piece of string, sticks, bits and other things. They get tangled in a knot, like the feelings that you’ve got. Everybody makes a plan, every woman, every man Ends will fray, words will sting, that will run out the string. CHORUS CHORUS + OUTRO You’ve got my heartstrings tied in a knot Tied up and tangled in a strange plot I fell in a trap, ready or not G A You’ve got my heartstrings tied in a knot G A You’ve got my heartstrings tied in a knot G F#m D You’ve got my heartstrings tied in a knot
